WHAT IS ART:
Collectively the word Art can be described with the phrase- ‘self expression’.
From a broad viewpoint, Art is a collective name for all subjects of study primarily concerned with human creativity and social life, such as languages, literature,
and history (as contrasted with scientific or technical subjects).
Art can simply be define as self expression.
Humans can express themselves in many ways such as painting, drawing, singing, writing of peoms dancing and so on. Any one who expresses his or her self under the umbrella of art can rightly be called an artist. ( This is why a visual artist, a musician and a movie actor can all be called artist.)
